Selecting a print quality

Follow these steps to select a print quality from the printer software:

Open the

Print

dialog box.

Select the

Paper Type/Quality

panel.

Select one of the following settings from the

Print Quality

drop-down list:

Use printer default

: Print in the Normal mode.

–

FastDraft

: Print at the fastest printing speed.

–

Fast normal

: Print more quickly than the Normal mode and at a higher print

quality than FastDraft.

–

Normal

: Create the best balance between print quality and speed. This is the

appropriate setting for most documents.

–

Best

: Produce high-quality printing.

–

Maximum dpi

: Produce the highest quality printing. This setting requires more

time to print than Best and requires a large amount of disk space.
